YOUTH AMBASSADORS FOR PEACE

We believe the future of Monterey County is our youth. The Youth Ambassadors for Peace Program is designed to provide guidance toward the completion of secondary education and development of work skills leading to a career with opportunity for advancement.

Program Services Include:



  • PAID/UNPAID INTERNSHIPS
  • WORK READINESS TRAINING
  • PERSONAL MONEY MANAGEMENT
  • LIFE SKILLS EDUCATION
  • MENTORING
  • VOCATIONAL TRAINING
  • And much more!!

Eligibility Requirements:



  • Youth ages 16-21 who live in Monterey County
  • Youth involved in the juvenile justice system OR have not attended secondary school for the most recent complete school year quarter
  • Depending on funding, additional qualifying eligibility requirements may apply
